Who We Are
24-7 Prayer Australia is part of an international, interdenominational prayer movement, with a vision to revive the church and rewire the culture through non-stop night and day prayer.
The movement started in 1999, when a simple student-led prayer vigil went viral and groups all over the world joined in to pray. Now, over two decades later, thousands of communities have taken part in 24-7 Prayer in churches, communities and cities in over half the countries on earth. From apps and courses to prayer rooms and blogs; we exist to help people pray.
24-7 Prayer Australia in its current form was launched in 2022. Our mission is to inspire, equip, and resource individuals, churches and communities into an awakened life of prayer, mission and justice. We currently do this though championing prayer culture, Prayer Rooms, Prayer Spaces in Schools and prayer for the next generation.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Communications Coordinator to work alongside our existing team to develop and implement a multi-faceted fundraising and communication strategy. This is a newly created and vital role as we seek to consolidate the growth of our organisation in a sustainable way.
We are looking for someone who is not only highly skilled but also aligned with the heart and mission of 24-7 Prayer Australia, with a passion for prayer, mission, and justice, and a desire to see lives and communities transformed.
Applicants will need to have experience in the non-profit fundraising space, with strong communication and CRM skills. Creative design skills, whilst not essential, would also be beneficial.
This role can be either based at our Melbourne office in Blackburn South or be hybrid / remote, arranging for periodic face-to-face meetings.

Role Description
Develop and implement a fundraising and communications strategy for 24-7 Prayer Australia, in line with our organisational brand and values.
Key Responsibilities
o Develop and implement an annual donation campaign strategy
o Research potential grant, trust or philanthropic funders and submit relevant grant applications
o Develop and implement a communication strategy with our growing network, donors and potential funders
o Manage our social media platforms
o Assist with content design and copy for events and programs
o Brand stewardship and upholding 24-7 Prayer Australia’s values, vision and mission
Key Requirements and Skills
o Experience in fundraising in the non-profit space, preferably in the faith-based sector
o Experience in CRM
o Experience in content design and communication strategies
o Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
o Strong communication and relational skills
o Outstanding self-management skills, with the ability to work proactively, independently as well as collaboratively
o Ability to sensitively invite people into partnership
o An active Christian faith and strong commitment to 24-7 Prayer Australia’s values, vision and mission
