Prayer Spaces in Cathedrals
In 2025, the Australian 24-7 Prayer Team was invited by St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne to set-up Prayer Spaces throughout the cathedral. The week was so impactful that we began to dream:
What might it look like if cathedrals all across Australia created similar
spaces - welcoming all who enter to encounter God’s presence and to carry His heart for transformation into our cities and nation?
So, we’ve created the following resources as both an invitation and a prompt to consider how you might join in this year.
Creative Prayer Stations
For the 2026 Global Week of 24-7 Prayer, the invitation to unite together to lift up the name of Jesus. We have created a collection of creative prayer stations to be used in prayer rooms or within a cathedral space. Each have some instructions for setup, and then a guide for use.
You are also welcome to create your own prayer spaces, or you can find more resources at the Global Week of Prayer website.
