“We are grateful for the opportunity… to reignite and reawaken our passion for prayer and the pursuit of God's presence”

We were so honoured to join you in the week of global prayer from our house of prayer in the Atherton Tablelands, Far North QLD, Australia. It was the first week of this kind for us, but we had a dedicated space we were able to use on a beautiful farm that was bought for the purpose of becoming a house of prayer. Our small, but prayerful community joined together, some from their homes (or in one case a hospital bed), and others in person, to seek God's heart for our community, nation and nations of the world.

It was such a special time where people heard from God personally and for our region and nation. Themes of repentance, humility and vulnerability in connecting with God and each other came through strongly in many of our people.

We came together for prayer and worship each evening during the week and these times were very impacting, and different each night depending on where the Holy Spirit led. Because of the encouragement and unity that came from these evenings together, we decided to continue gathering once a week for a meal, prayer and worship, which has been a blessing to all who have come.

We are grateful for the opportunity that the global week of prayer gave us to reignite and reawaken our passion for prayer and the pursuit of God's presence to be poured out on us, on our nation, and on the nations of the world. Truly Jesus is the only worthy one, for by his blood He purchased the souls of people from every nation. All glory to Him!

A testimony from the week:

"I've never felt such complete surrender and healing as he began taking all the guards down over out up over the years to 'protect myself'. I never thought my intercession would go in this direction; it really surprised me, as I was there to pray for others, but this is what it's about. We need to surrender more to be filled more with God, so we can do his work and hear him more clearly."
