“God is certainly stirring something in our community. So grateful!”

Last week exceeded our expectations. The week started a little bit slowly and I was covering several blocks that weren't booked but as the week went on it gained momentum, with a number of stories of people saying they felt compelled to leave what they were doing and go down at the prayer room! People rocked up without booking and many stayed longer than their hour to pray with others.  So many people said "an hour isn't long enough".

We finished with a gathering of sharing, worship and prayer and a meal together. 50-60 people came – we were catering for 30 as we had no idea but there was enough food. One of the pastors involved (the church where the prayer room is) is an ex-policeman who was told when he went to cook them a barbecue at 2 am on the Saturday night that they had had a very quiet week!  Praise God!

God is certainly stirring something in our community. So grateful!
